Karen Melville,
Old Fashioned Seamstress

Karen has been sewing for many years and was introduced to the world of
theatre sewing and the making of costumes for living history folk in the
Spring of 1984. Her Great Grandmother Cassie Ann (Crawford) Hines
supported her children in the early 20th century as a seamstress and
dressmaker. A hobby needs a good sewer and some of the costumes she has
made would make folk of the past centuries satisfied.

There are folk who may want me to construct a dress or frock coat that
require measuring and fittings. For those who cannot make arrangements
with me in person, the results of the completed article may not fit
properly.
A deposit will be required on most items.
A form with measurements will be required.
